At the age of 12 Counter began performing in front of audiences and since then he's opened shows for artists including The Marshall Tucker Band, Toby Keith, Martina McBride, Vern Gosdin, Blackhawk, Becky Hobbs, Mark O'Connor and Dan Seals. In 1991, Jim and his band Riley Road took first place in the "Wisconsin State Champions of Country Music". Jim also performed on the annual 'Freedom Sings' show at The Bluebird Cafe, sharing the stage with Kim Richey, Steve Earle, and John Kay of Steppenwolf. Counter sang the National Anthem for the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Cubs.
As a singer and composer, Jim composed and sang the theme song "Hitting The Outdoors With Brian Noble" for an ESPN program hosted by former G.B. Packers player Brian Noble.
In November, 2009, Counter's music was placed in a Robin Robert's ABC special called "In The Spotlight".
In 2014, Jim had the pleasure of writing several songs with veteran Nashville songwriter Maggi Vaughn.
Jim now performs live shows all across WI.
Greg Boerner June 24&25,
July 29&30, August 26&27
Make no mistake...Greg Boerner is a straight-shootin’, clean livin’ guitarist/singer/songwriter who performs like some kind of a road-hardened guitar maniac on one song, a 1950’s pop idol on another, a Southern troubadour on the next - and at last blows you out of the galaxy with an antique blues tune that might well give John Lee Hooker pause.
Burgundy Ties August 5
Burgundy Ties is a hard working Midwest rock band. They have been hitting the road playing venues in Milwaukee and beyond for the past decade. In the summer of 2013, the band released their most rocking album to date and had "Between The Lines" featured on FM radio. In 2014 they had an evening slot at Summerfest and opening for King Washington - a national touring band from LA. The combination of their eclectic sound and live performance makes Burgundy Ties truly stand out as an original and inspired Milwaukee band.
